Languages (other than English)
Apr 2nd, 2007 by Jeff Hiles
There are many regions in Second Life that cater to people who speak languages other than English. These make excellent places for language students to practice their skills with native speakers. Here is a partial list of non-English-speaking regions. If you know of others, please leave a note in the comments or email me and I’ll add them to the list.

This is an excellent list of places to practice languages. Another list, complete with Google Map, SLURL links, images and videos is available at http://www.avatarlanguages.com/freepractice . On this page you will find Second Life places to meet with native speakers of many languages such as Kazakhstan for Russian and Hong Kong for Chinese.
